I had a lot of fun the other day performing with The Bushwick Book Club Seattle (just take a look at the video!). For those of you who don’t know, The Bushwick Book Club Seattle is a Seattle based non-profit that puts on these awesome book inspired music events (they do lots of other stuff too). The basic concept for each show is:
- a book is chosen
- artists (and audience members) read the book
- artists write an original song inspired by the book
- artists perform their song for a live audience (who have hopefully read the book too)
- audience claps
The wonderful Tekla Waterfield is playing a show this Sunday night (November 3rd) at the Tractor. So I decided to make this animation to help celebrate this momentous occasion.
This video took me about three minutes to make and will only take you about three seconds to watch it. What a deal.
Pizza House!
For the past few months I’ve been making an effort to practice my geeeetar every single day. Can you tell? Check this out!
A short little ten second promo I made for my rock band We Wrote the Book on Connectors, AKA the self-proclaimed band of the future.
